1. Ueno Park Tokyo

If you are curious about cherry blossoms, check out the most popular spot in Tokyo.
As you can see right above the article, it is Tokyo’s busiest park.
When you leave the park gate, you will see a lot of cherry blossom trees as you walk.
As you walk inside the park, the thousand SAKURA trees will bloom in your mind.

2. Yoyogi Park Tokyo

As one of the largest parks in Tokyo City Park, featuring lawns, ponds,
and forested areas, it comes after Ueno Park to view cherry blossoms,
with an estimated 600 cherry trees inside the park. It is easy to locate
with a 5-minute walk from the Harajuku station to the Yoyogi park.
Right before you enter the park, you will see a massive map of Yoyogi Park.

Trust me, be prepared for a long walk, but it will be pleasant.
As you go further inside the park, you will see people having picnics everywhere.
There are ponds with a small bridge.
Those are some of my favorite places for pictures with the sakura trees behind.

3. Philosopher’s Path Kyoto

The Philosopher’s Path is an approximately two-kilometer-long
canal-side stone path through the northern part of Kyoto’s Higashiyama district.
As you walk through the stone path, you will see hundreds of

cherries and many varieties of trees. Along the way,
there are many cross-over bridges to cross the channel.
It is the quietest place to relax and see cherry blossoms.
Oh, and along the way, you will also find many food stalls.
My Favorite spot is to look forward from the crossing bridge to the cherry trees on both sides.

4. Kema Sakuranomiya Park Osaka

This is Osaka’s most famous cherry blossom spot ever.
This park has 4,800 cherry trees and 4.2 km all the way.
This Park stretches alongside the Ogawa River.
The good thing is that this park is always open because it is beside the river.

5. Mount Yoshinoyama (Nara)

Approximately 30,000 cherry trees cover Mt. Yoshinoyama is,
Japan’s most famous Cherry blossom spot. It is said that over 1300 years ago,
the first cherry tree was planted on Mt. Yoshinoyama.
It gets very crowded during the cherry blossom season,

but there are some quiet places to enjoy the blooms.
Yoshino Mikumari-jinja Shrine has a beautiful garden with a
weeping cherry tree near the top of the mountain.
The view from Yoshimizu Shrine, which is up from the mountain, is particularly famous.
When you climb up or down the mountain, there will be many restaurants and stalls to keep you happy.

6. Hirosaki Castle Park Aomori

This is what I love most about Hirosaki Castle Park, and yes there are
boats available inside the park as they are so satisfying.
I love it when it is nighttime; the lights feel so heartwarming when
they hit the night cherry blossom, and the Hirosaki castle glows like a
gem between the park. I highly recommend you visit
Hirosaki Castle Park both day and night time. Believe me, it is worth your time in Japan.
As one of the few castles remaining in Japan,

Hitrosaki Castle is one of the best cherry blossom spots in Japan.
It is said that the oldest living Somei Yoshino tree was planted in 1882 and is located in Hirosaki Castle Park Aomori.

7. Fort Goryokaku Hokkaido

There is no more fun than walking and enjoying all the beautiful cherry
trees along the way between the cherry trees on both sides of the road.
This is also a perfect place for taking pictures. When it is cherry blossom season,

they decorate some trees with these cute lanterns on the trees.
It gets very windy during the cherry blossom season.
So be prepared for a strong wind current.
You can get a good view of this star-shaped Goryokaku Fort from the Goryokaku Tower.

“You can also see the ocean from up there when you climb the tower.”

8. Meijo koen Park Nagoya

It is also famous as the Nagoya Castle park. In this park,
some ponds have two fountains in the middle of the ponds.
There is also a big flower garden inside the park.
It is especially known for its cherry blossom, which usually

bloom at the beginning of April, and its wisteria,
which usually blooms at the end of April and the beginning of May.

9. Himeji Castle (Hyogo)

Himeji Castle is the best place during cherry blossom season.
The white facade hovers over a sea of pink blossoms, making it the
perfect place to enjoy hanami (flower viewing). It almost feels like
the Castle is also a part of the cherry blossom itself.
Everywhere you walk, there will be picture-perfect
views of the castle surrounded by Sakura blossoms.
After crossing the Sakuramon-bashi bridge, there is a big gate into

the castle grounds, and this castle is by far my favorite castle in Japan.
I recommend that you visit the castle once it is worth a while.

Though there is a 1000 YEN fee to enter, you will not regret it.

10. Arakurayama Sengen park Mt. Fuji

Japan’s iconic symbol, Mt. Fuji, and the Sakura (Cherry Flower) are together in Arakura.
Park with many stairs leading to seasonal cherry blossoms,

a 5-story pagoda & dramatic views of Mt. Fuji.
It’s about 20 minutes to Arakurayama Sengen Park.
